Why choose the Woodlands Nursery ?
We offer care and education for the very young, toddlers and preschoolers, we believe strongly in the importance of outdoor play and lots of fresh air. Our forest school offers your little explorers a place to experience and gain new skills eg bush-craft skills, den making and interacting with nature. Our nursery rooms are bright and airy with lots of natural play materials. We believe children should follow their ideas and explore an exciting environment.

Our Strategies and Pedagogy
We follow the EYFS and aim to provide a natural play experience for children with lots of fresh air and outdoor play. We follow a free flow learning approach from inside to outdoors for most of the day, we plan in the moment and follow the children's lead, with careful adult support. We have a home from home approach to childcare and our key person system ensures we work closely with parents to meet the needs of the children and parents.
